Found this pea sized snail (?) on a bit of kelp at Pt Loma. Anyone know what it is?

What a pretty little snail! Wish I had a snail ID book. Can anyone recommend one?

I saw a couple last night at Vets that I'd love to ID as well:

Tiny snail crawling on a flattie fish (that I'm pretty sure is a halibut).

Is that a teeny moon snail? Kinda reminds me of one, a bit. Need to look at some pics to compare, but that's my first, off-the-cuff thought.

Here's a "small" moon snail (pic taken this past Monday at Vets). Nowhere near as small as Terry's critter, but you can see that its mantle is more smooth.

I was thinking Terry's is a baby from the Trividae family. See:

Maybe a teeny baby Trivia californica or Trivia solandri? The shell on Terry's baby looks kind of smooth, so... ?

definetly none of the ridges I have seen on triv's. I found a larger version at LJ one night. Same body design, same smooth shell.
