Nudi and Worm ID Needed

Postby pgallup on Tue Dec 08, 2009 5:56 am

Last Saturday we dove the Star of Scotland and the Hyperion Pipe aboard the Giant Stride. While at the Pipe and wandering around in the sand I came upon a nudi and worm that I am unable to identify. I checked Scotty's guide without success. What are they?

Worm is Pseudoceros luteus.

Slug is probably Doris montereyensis but it's hard to say for sure from this picture.

Cheers,

Thanks Clinton. I thought the nudi might be a monterey dorid but I was not sure. Thanks for the worm id. Peter

thanks for the new worm Peter. The pipe seems to be a great place to find uncommon species, I hope to get back there soon (on a calm day).
